There are areas of commonality and points of difference between international humanitarian law and the Responsibility to Protect principle. Both have a role to play in the protection of vulnerable populations and by understanding their relationship to one another it may enhance our capacity to serve those at risk.
Join us as Dr Phoebe Wynn-Pope, principal researcher for the new Red Cross publication International Humanitarian Law and the Responsibility to Protect, shares with us some important information about these two concepts.
